Working with our trusted blank PCB supplier of over 30 years in this industry, we order the required bare board(s) according to the customers requirements, requested via the customers gerber files.
Once receiving the bill of materials (BOM) from our customers, we acquire the components required for the build. This varies from thousands of reeled components to put on our pick & place machine, or smaller quantities to hand build, depending on the order scale.
Starting with the screen printing process. We use a Semi-Automated Printing Table that enables us to accurately apply a layer of "wet" solder paste to every necessary copper pad of the bare board.
With the screen printing complete, the board then makes its way to one of our pick & place machines. This will be programmed to place the appropriate components to the correct location on the board, with incredible accuracy.
Now the board is fully populated, it is ready to go into our reflow oven, where the wet paste is melted into solder, forming all of the electrical bonds required.
Now the PCB is complete, it will undergo a visual inspection from our team. After running it through several inspection process's, and our team are happy with the product, it will then make its way to the test department. Where the PCB will be thoroughly tested for it's functionality.
Finally, now the PCB is fully assembled, tested & has been quality checked. It will then be securely packaged up ready for our customer!
